Pixelles is an organization that helps people who have never played games learn how to make them! And they’ve been doing this for about eight years! Pixelles is very pleased to announce the 9th edition of the Pixelles Game Incubator, which will again be 100% online, across Quebec and in French. The game incubator is a free 8-week workshop during which 12 participants will make their very first video game! Whether you’re looking to start a career in games, want to explore a new medium, or are simply intrigued by game design, the incubator is the program for you. No programming knowledge or video game experience is required. Over the years, more than 100 participants have made their first games with us.

VIRTUAL EDITION 2021
Dates: from October 6 to November 24, 2021 inclusively (the vernissage will take place in December 2021)
Virtual sessions: Wednesday evenings (6pm to 9pm) and Saturday afternoons (1pm to 5pm)

The program welcomes participants who:
– have never made a game;
– identify as non-binary, transgender, female or any person marginalized because of their gender;
– live in Quebec, Canada, and are available between October and December 2021;
– are excited to design their first video game!!
A remote program is also offered for participants of all kinds and all over the world. Our mentors can offer support in both French and English.
