pixelles groupe ecran partage

Pixelles is an organization that helps people who have never played games learn how to make them! And they’ve been doing this for about eight years! If you want to learn how to do it, register quickly, the end date of registrations is Friday, September 3, 2021! Press release and more information below!

Pixelles is very pleased to announce the 9th edition of the Pixelles Game Incubator, which will again be 100% online, across Quebec and in French. The game incubator is a free 8-week workshop during which 12 participants will make their very first video game! Whether you’re looking to start a career in games, want to explore a new medium, or are simply intrigued by game design, the incubator is the program for you. No programming knowledge or video game experience is required. Over the years, more than 100 participants have made their first games with us.

In the words of Julia Dionne, participant of the Game Incubator Pixelles VIII
“The Pixelles game incubator has been an incredibly positive experience; I came out of it not only with a game, but with a lot more confidence in my abilities. Creating my own game was something I always wanted to do, but I felt I lacked resources and confidence, but after this program, I’m already diving headlong into my next game project.”

Dates: from October 6 to November 24, 2021 inclusively (the vernissage will take place in December 2021)
Virtual sessions: Wednesday evenings (6pm to 9pm) and Saturday afternoons (1pm to 5pm)
