Review : Unrecord Explained to Parents (Preview)

What parents need to know

Unrecord is an indie game aimed at an adult audience. Its release date has not yet been announced by the studio.

It is an immersive and realistic first-person shooter in which the player takes on the role of a tactical police officer who investigates various criminal cases. The narration style is comparable to a detective novel, and the main character is often confronted with complex moral choices.

This game stands out for its free-aim shooting system, the art direction that plays with the perspective of a body camera, and the ability to make dialogue choices even during combat.

Unrecord is a realistic and sometimes very bloody first-person shooter. From a body camera’s point of view, the main character solves dangerous cases with the help of his gun and dialogue. Gun shooting, criminal activity, and violence are omnipresent in this game.

The dialogues are often short because they are in the heat of the moment, but important. Since the player takes on the role of a tactical police officer who solves dangerous cases, there are difficult themes, insults, and threats.

It is a realistic first-person shooter, so there are no special powers and it is impossible to lock a target when shooting. Players can only rely on their reflexes and skills to survive and to defeat opponents.

As far as we know, buying the game once will grant access to all of its content.

Local game modes

It’s a single-player game.
