{"id":27973,"date":"2024-06-26T14:41:01","date_gmt":"2024-06-26T18:41:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ecranpartage.ca\/what-is-dynamo\/"},"modified":"2024-07-04T18:34:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T22:34:25","slug":"what-is-dynamo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ecranpartage.ca\/en\/what-is-dynamo","title":{"rendered":"What is DYNAMO?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DYNAMO <\/strong>is our series of in-person events allowing selected developers to show their video game in development to members of the video game industry, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of the selected teams of developers has 5 minutes to present the gameplay of their game in front of the audience.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of it, the developers answer a few questions from the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After all the presentations, the selected developers and the audience meet and network.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developers usually have tables where audience members can test games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Appetizers and drinks are offered to everyone when possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our events are bilingual: <strong>French, English.<\/strong> Presentations can take place in one of the two languages chosen by the developer team.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first <strong>DYNAMO <\/strong>event took place <strong>on Thursday, June 20, 2024<\/strong> from <strong>6 to 9 p.m.<\/strong> at the <strong>NAD-UQAC School<\/strong>, in the amphitheater on <strong>the 6th floor, at the Balmoral block, at 1501 Rue de Bleury, Montreal, QC H3A 0H3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can view our publications <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ecranpartage.ca\/en\/tag\/dynamo-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about DYNAMO here. <\/a><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its ancestor, named <strong>GLITCH<\/strong> took place on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from <strong>6 p.m. to 9 p.m.<\/strong> at the <strong>NAD-UQAC School<\/strong>, in the amphitheater on <strong>the 6th floor, at the Balmoral block, at 1501 Rue de Bleury, Montreal, QC H3A 0H3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can view our publications <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ecranpartage.ca\/en\/tag\/glitch-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about GLITCH here. <\/a><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DYNAMO <\/strong>is made by the company \u00c9cran Partag\u00e9 Inc.
