The game has many difficulty modes, and it constantly asks you if you want it to be easier or more difficult. Very well calculated and suitable for everyone.

Violence, fear, nudity?

The player attacks monsters by doing fitness exercises in turn-by-turn fights. Monsters attack by punching or head knocking the player-controlled character. Outside of fights, the player can absorb air to collect bonuses or throw air to activate mechanisms. There is no problem.

Level of language used

No problem.

Positive message

A lot of encouragement constantly from the narrator (to the choice) to continue the efforts on the exercises. Everyone is kind and supportive, and the bad guys aren’t really nice.

Minimum reading level required

Asked to read for a few years.

Additional costs ?

The game is more expensive than normal because of these 2 plastic accessories sold in the box. Apart from that, there is no extension (DLC) or anything else to buy. The game is self-sufficient.

Minimum level of execution on the controller required

At the controller, it’s just menus, on the other hand the game will make you work your whole body. Depending on the person this can be more or less hard, but as said, many modes of difficulty are present.

Principle of the game

A video is better than a thousand words:

Follow the exercises with a specific theme: legs, biceps, back.

multitasking:

Allows you to train even when you’re not looking at the screen. All Ring-Con manipulations are recorded.

Rhythm game :

Allows to do rhythm exercises on the music of the game or some excerpts from Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon, Wii Fit.

No online game modes

Conclusion

Ring Fit Adventure is a great game. We were really surprised by its quality. Compared to the Wii Fit and Wii Fit U, the game is much better calibrated and suitable for everyone. And the fact that this is staged in a playful adventure with powers, monsters and multiple environments, makes you want to play there much more than with the other titles of the genre.

There are many parameters to fit everyone. The game is very encouraging and advises you to take breaks, drink water or give you advice on your diet. A great success.
