“To recognize video games as a form of expression that lies between culture and entertainment, it is essential to promote the creativity of the people who bring these worlds to life in Quebec. We are pleased to support the first edition of the Festival,” said Jean-Jacques Hermans, Executive Director of La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec.
The festival benefits from the financial support of La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec, as part of its actions to promote the local industry. Many Quebec studios are also contributing to its production: Clever Endeavor, Berzerk Studio, Paralives, Tribute Games, Lofi Games, Sabotage Studio, Red Barrels, Borealys, Lowbirth Games, Indie Asylum, Pixelles and Studio Lucid Dreams. Other partners include the CREAT Chair at Concordia University, the SDC de la Plaza Saint-Hubert, Woolfell and the creative company Colegram.
