January 16, 2025 – The Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the Nintendo Switch console, will arrive in 2025. Today, Nintendo unveiled a first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 in a video presentation of the console.

Nintendo Switch 2 allows you to play Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive titles as well as physical and digital versions of Nintendo Switch titles. Some Nintendo Switch titles may be incompatible or not fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. Details will be announced later on Nintendo’s website.
