Nintendo News: Nintendo Switch 2 Coming in 2025

January 16, 2025The Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the Nintendo Switch console, will arrive in 2025. Today, Nintendo unveiled a first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 in a video presentation of the console.

Nintendo Switch 2 allows you to play Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive titles as well as physical and digital versions of Nintendo Switch titles. Some Nintendo Switch titles may be incompatible or not fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. Details will be announced later on Nintendo’s website.

Nintendo will also host a series of Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events in cities around the world, including Toronto, where Nintendo Switch 2 will be available to experience in person.
