We saw the announcement go through a few months ago, but here it is, LEGO is coming to Fortnite.
This is an opportunity for Epic Games, the company developing and publishing Fortnite, to benefit from the incredible reputation of the LEGO company and to reassure parents at the same time.
Having the great LEGO partnership in Fortnite allows Epic Games to continue the competition more than ever with the other 2 most played games by children: Roblox and Minecraft.
Roblox Corp has an “experience” platform populated by LEGO-like characters.
The same goes for Minecraft, which has millions of servers, experiences with childish-looking characters, and leaves plenty of room for players and their imagination to enjoy the game.
Now, Fortnite hopes to conquer a new target of players through its partnership: children, but also fans of the company and LEGO creations.
To play LEGO in Fortnite, you will have to select the corresponding experience inside the game from December 7, 2023.
