A little panic for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave players who have not yet reached the end of the first act in this massive role-playing game whose lifespan can easily exceed 150 hours: Nintendo have already released the first downloadable content, after less than a month!
A three-phase expansion pass
Don’t panic, though; for the moment, only the first wave is available, and it’s not too strong. Fortune’s Weave acting as a prequel to Three Houses (2019), we are offered to wield the prototypes of four hero relics that were found in this game. These are additional weapons to add to the arsenal of our four heroes.

No need to start a new game; by downloading the additional content, you will find a mysterious character in Dagsion who will offer you to go and collect these weapons.
By the end of the year, we are promised the second wave of this pass, which will allow us to recruit three gods: Aurora, Smyrnos and Jurah, in addition to offering us new costumes for our heroes.
But the third wave will undoubtedly be the most anticipated and the strongest. Scheduled for 2027, we will be offered new classes and new characters to recruit, but above all, this last wave will offer us four new stories, those of Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel and Anatolia.
Knowing that Fortune’s Weave, originally, was supposed to have 8 protagonists instead of the 4 offered in the basic version, this DLC seems to be a kind of restoration of the abandoned content during development.
A story to be continued
The Expansion Pass is already available, at a cost of $49.99. It’s a bit expensive at the moment, considering that for the time being, you’ll only have access to four new weapons for that price, but we promise to update you when the third wave is available (I can’t wait to play Orchel and Talimun!)
