What parents need to know

Sea of Stars is a Quebec game to be released on August 29, 2023.

It is a 2D turn-based RPG, recognizable by its retro aesthetic and featuring a wide variety of levels. In this single-player game, you play as two Children of the Solstice who combine the powers of the moon and sun in an Eclipse Magic to counter the Fleshmancer, an evil alchemist, and his monstrous creations. The story of Sea of Stars takes place in the same universe as The Messenger, a game from the same studio released in 2018.

Sea of Stars offers a very dynamic combat system that requires you to synchronize your attacks and combos as well as dozens of non-player characters and several story arcs. In addition to multiple interactions and combat, the player can sail and explore the multiple islands that make up the game world, fish and cook.

This game is classified as appropriate for children over 10 years of age by the ESRB. It won an award in 2020 for its fundraising campaign.
