Evaluation

The games in the Ace Attorney series invite players to investigate murders in order to solve mysteries and present a plea in court. Crime scenes sometimes feature dead bodies, bloodstains, and weapons. Some cutscenes related to the cases may present the murder itself.

There is no sexually explicit content, but a female character is portrayed in a somewhat suggestive way, and an case has the player investigate missing underwear.

By its nature, Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy is a compilation of games that require good reading and understanding skills to solve the mysteries. However, there is a Story mode in which dialogue and certain choices roll automatically, which allows to follow the story with minimal interaction.

Since murder cases are an important element of the game, difficult topics are addressed by the characters and threatening words can be heard or read.

The main character is a lawyer whose goal is to ensure that justice prevails, so the player’s interactions with the game environment are always towards this goal.

Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy is not a compilation of games that require having good reflexes or performing combos. While textual comprehension is helpful to get the full experience, the Autoplay mode in Story Mode allows you to follow the story without solving the puzzles.

As far as we know, buying the game once unlocks all of its content.

Local game modes

Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy is a single-player game, so there are no local or online game modes.
