Did you know that of all the video game franchises, Tekken has the longest history of its characters? The Tekken series holds the Guinness World Record for the longest video game storyline.
With TEKKEN 8 marketing in full swing with 8 days to go, Bandai Namco (the game’s publisher) has hired acclaimed actor Brian Cox (Manhunter, The Corruptor, The Ring, X2) to tell the story of the legendary fighting game series.
And considering that the story of the series began in 1994, you can guess, the result that it can give 30 years later. The way it’s told is hilarious, and we appreciate the self-deprecation used by Bandai Namco to promote its game.
