Review: Biomorph explained to parents (Preview)

Biomorph Featured Ecran Partage

What parents need to know

Biomorph is a Quebec indie game to be released in 2023.

In this Metroidvania (a 2D platformer), you are invited to explore a huge world with multiple settings, rebuild the city of Blightmoor and fight many creatures. As Harlo, the main character, you can improve your fighting style by choosing from various weapons and equipment and using the powers and forms of the enemies you defeat.

Throughout his explorations, the main character interacts with eccentric characters, uncovers the secrets of a fallen civilization and unveils his own mysterious origins. Beware, however, because creatures whose powers and forms you have used may reappear with fearsome new powers.

Biomorph was a finalist for two Canadian indie gaming awards in 2023 and is still awaiting an official rating as to the minimum age required to play.
