Review: Disney Speedstorm explained to parents (Preview)

Disney Speedstorm Featured Ecran Partage

What parents need to know

Disney Speedstorm is a racing game featuring characters and circuits from the Disney and Pixar universes. Each character has specific abilities and you have to master them to win the races.
The characters included are: Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Sulli, Baloo, Captain Jack Sparrow, the Beast and many more.
It is possible to improve the statistics of each pilot, the more items and experience you accumulate.

The game is playable in multiplayer locally and online.

Disney Speedstorm is a free-to-play, i.e. it is a free game to download and play.
However, the player will be constantly incentivized to spend money, frustrating him or her and including unnecessary friction to access the rest of the game content.
While the game’s developers deserve to be paid for their work, be careful about the transactions present in the game and some potentially aggressive monetization techniques. It is easy to spend more money than expected in this type of game.

For now, Disney Speedstorm is only available in Early Access, which means that the game is not yet fully ready, and that only people who have already purchased content packs can access.
